Terms and Conditions

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Sevy ("Service"), DNX TECHNOLOGY PTY LTD's ("DNX," "we," "us," or "our") AI Cloud Engineer, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

Note: DNX TECHNOLOGY PTY LTD operates under the trading name DNX Solutions.

2. Service Description

Sevy is an AI-powered cloud engineering assistant that:

• Integrates with your Slack workspace
• Provides automated AWS operations and analysis
• Offers infrastructure monitoring and optimization recommendations
• Integrates with third-party tools including AWS, JIRA, and Confluence

3. Account Requirements

• You must provide accurate and complete information
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• You must have appropriate authorization to grant AWS permissions requested by Sevy
• Minimum age requirement: 18 years or legal age in your jurisdiction

4. AWS Permissions and Access

4.1 Required Permissions

• Sevy requires read-only AWS permissions for analysis functions
• Optional write permissions may be configured for automated remediation
• You maintain full control over permission levels granted

4.2 Your Responsibilities

• Ensure proper AWS IAM policies are configured
• Review and approve all permission requests
• Monitor Sevy's activities through AWS CloudTrail
• Maintain compliance with AWS Terms of Service

5. Data Security and Privacy

5.1 Data Processing

• Sevy processes AWS infrastructure data to provide recommendations
• All data transmission is encrypted using industry-standard protocols
• We do not store AWS credentials; authentication uses temporary tokens

5.2 Data Retention

• Analysis results retained for 90 days for service improvement
• Chat logs retained per your Slack workspace settings
• You may request data deletion at any time

6. Service Limitations

6.1 No Guarantee of Results

• Sevy provides recommendations based on analysis
• No guarantee of cost savings or performance improvements
• Human review recommended for critical infrastructure changes

6.2 Service Availability

• Service provided "as is" with no uptime guarantees
• Scheduled maintenance will be communicated in advance
• Emergency maintenance may occur without notice

7. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree NOT to:

• Use Sevy for illegal or unauthorized purposes
• Attempt to bypass security measures
• Use the Service to access unauthorized AWS resources
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the AI model
• Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization

8. Service Access and Future Pricing

8.1 Current Trial Phase

• Sevy is currently in trial phase with no end date defined
• No credit card required for access
• Full feature access during trial period
• Trial access may be subject to usage limitations as communicated

8.2 Future Pricing Model

• We plan to introduce a free tier model with both free and paid plans
• Existing trial users will receive advance notice of pricing changes
• Free tier will include basic functionality with usage limits
• Paid plans will offer enhanced features and higher usage allowances
• Minimum 30 days notice will be provided before any billing begins

8.3 Transition Policy

• Trial users will have the option to continue with free tier or upgrade to paid plans
• No automatic billing will occur without explicit user consent
• Detailed pricing and feature comparison will be provided before transition

9. Intellectual Property

• DNX TECHNOLOGY PTY LTD retains all rights to Sevy and its underlying technology
• You retain ownership of your AWS infrastructure and data
• Feedback and suggestions may be used to improve the Service

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

• DNX TECHNOLOGY PTY LTD is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Total liability limited to fees paid in the preceding 12 months
• Not responsible for AWS costs incurred based on recommendations

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify DNX TECHNOLOGY PTY LTD against claims arising from:

• Your use of the Service
• Violation of these Terms
• Infringement of third-party rights
• Actions taken based on Sevy's recommendations

12. Third-Party Services

12.1 Integration Dependencies

• Service functionality depends on third-party platforms (AWS, Slack, JIRA, Confluence)
• Not responsible for third-party service outages or changes
• You must maintain valid accounts with integrated services

12.2 Third-Party Terms

• You must comply with terms of integrated services
• AWS Terms of Service apply to all AWS operations
• Slack Terms apply to workspace integration

13. Termination

13.1 By You

• Cancel subscription anytime through account settings
• Data export available for 30 days post-termination

13.2 By DNX TECHNOLOGY PTY LTD

• May terminate for Terms violation with immediate effect
• 30 days notice for termination without cause
• Refund provided for unused subscription period

14. Changes to Terms

• We may modify these Terms with 30 days notice
• Continued use constitutes acceptance of modified Terms
• Major changes will be communicated via email and Slack

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of NSW, Australia, without regard to conflict of law principles.

17. Severability

If any provision is deemed invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force.

18. Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and DNX TECHNOLOGY PTY LTD regarding Sevy, superseding any prior agreements.
